This policy explains how Notus Digital Ltd uses cookies on notusdigital.co.uk and how you can control them. For everything else about how we handle personal information, see our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used, or measure whether our advertising works. Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels and local storage, work in much the same way, and this policy covers them too.
How we use them
When you first visit our site, a banner asks which types of cookie you are happy to allow. Only strictly necessary cookies are set before you choose. Everything else waits for your permission.
- Strictly necessary: these keep the site secure, protect our forms from spam and remember your cookie choices. The site cannot work properly without them, so they do not need your consent.
- Performance (analytics): Google Analytics tells us which pages people visit, how they found us and where they leave. We use it to improve the site. The figures are reported to us in aggregate.
- Targeting (advertising): Google Ads and LinkedIn help us measure whether our adverts lead to enquiries and show our adverts to people who have visited the site. These providers may use the information along with what they already know about you.
- Functionality: some embedded content, such as YouTube videos, sets its own cookies when you play it.
The cookies we use
The table below is kept up to date automatically by CookieScript, which scans our site regularly. It lists each cookie, who sets it, what it is for and how long it lasts.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Use the cookie settings button in the corner of any page, or the button in the table above.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work.
To opt out of Google Analytics on every website, you can install Google’s browser add-on.
